B. Sequential Design (4-6 Weeks)

Objective: Continuous development of a composition into new concepts and outcomes. Choice applications enable student to experiment at different levels.

  • Background:---Positive and negative forms built from symmetrical axis cuts; experimental and unplanned shape formations; constructing in layers.
  • Application 2, Part 1---Positive and negative axis cuts; See: Background Preparation
  • Application2: Part 2---Drawing overlays. See Mixed Media completion.

C. Graphic Arts (3-4 Weeks)

Objective: Opportunity to work in graphic printing processes not previously experienced, or to select one for further development.
