Inspite of being a very "hot" hockey game, colors here are nicely balanced between warm and cool hues. The variety of textures separates various shapes and gives visual intensity to both background and foreground areas.

  Unlike the more quiet color approach above, Margaret chose very bright, strong and vivid hues in her composition below that offer sharp constrasts with a Christmas brillancy. Each to his own!

  Each of the color etchings presented here and on the previous pages were 18"X24" formats. It's really exciting to work on large compositions which allow plenty of room for size variance and textural applications. Go head!
