A very nice "spiked" triangular shape begins with point 1 on the outer circle to point 4 and 6 on the inner circle. Again, varied widths can result with larger intervals. Continue around both circles by moving from 2 outer to points 5 and 7 inner, point 3 outer to 6 and 8 inner, etc.
Step 2 is an easy linear crossover within the inner circle, joining points 1 to 13, 2 to 14, etc.
The final step, as usual, is to isolate discovered paths and patterns. See the completed circle and by trying the original configurations, devise an exciting new look of your own.
