Wet Colored Pencils--Applications 1

From black washes to multi-color, liquifying wet colored pencils brings new expressions.

The right turtle shows gradations of light gray to black washes. Dry linear emphasis was added to the shell later.

The tree combines dry foreground land, wet backgrounds, tree and water, spatter leaves, and dry emphasis and line scratches after drying.

The Indian work in a 1st time drawing combined wet applications for all, and added minor dry emphasis in the foreground.

All drawings incorporated several layers, blended hues, variety of line texture, and clear water application promoting clean values.
