 | Under the complete top area, torn paper collage, the 2nd section combines crosshatched colored pencil and tissue paper overlay in the butterfly. The 3rd water color section is followed by a flat tempera application emphasizing edges, with ink dotted texturing. The final section combines soft pastels with colored pencil stroking. And last, but not least, note that the background is also an interval design of sponge painted applications on a separate, cut background. All sections are then layered and mounted on a brown railroad board. Lots of spatial designing can be done with "interval" in mind. Give it a try! |
