 | Matt's top area begins with 2 layers of construction paper with a variety of punched dots to form the fox's ears. The area is quite heavily applied. The left middle section continues the neutral colors' application with cut construction paper, 4 levels high. The right center section is a very well handled textural painting of fur with broad and fine brush strokes, dry brush, fine spatter and white line detailing. It's very convincing. The bottom area, equally realistic, is well executed pointillism controlled with many values of all the hues painted. |

 Bugs are most interesting creations, and it's often mindboggling how much design is contained in such a small area. The last example is a rather stately fellow when still and a very nice subject. Take a look at big bug and let him "eschew" your imagination. |
